UPDATE!

UPDATE: We are still asking everyone to conserve water to prevent a water outage. The problem is due to the high water, causing breaks in rushing water. The break can not be repaired until the gates are shut down. We normally supply water through a 12" line and an 8" line. It is the 12" line that runs under the spillway that broke. We are now supplying water from the 8" line only which is the reason we need everyone to conserve water. We don't have a water shortage, but it is difficult to refill the towers through the 8" line only.
Regarding an update on the boil advisory: We should receive the results on the boil advisory no later than Wednesday, depending on how quickly the lab and DEQ work.
Pertaining to the comment about notifications; If you receive emails about your bill, it tells me that you are signed up for e-bills and those don't come from RWD 3, they come from our payment provider, which have their own database. We depend on our customers to sign up for our alert system for us to be able to send alerts, which can be email and/or texts. To sign up for alerts go to https://rwd3rogers.com/home and click the big orange button on the right side of the page that says 'Sign Up For Alerts'.
I will try to be available today to answer any questions, but unfortunately there will be nothing that can be done about the line break until they shut the gates down at the spillway. We will post immediately when we get the results of the boil advisory.
We apologize for all inconvenience but appreciate your patience throughout this ordeal. We are working as hard as humanly possible to resolve everything.

Conserve Water Alert!

6/8/19 Due to the break on the 12” line near the spillway, and isolating it, we are currently supplying water with the 8” line only. The heavy weekend water usage is causing low to no pressure to many customers in the area outlined on the map. We would appreciate everyone in that area to conserve water as much as possible so we are able to keep the towers full and provide water to all our customers in that area until we are able to repair the 12” line.
